The Infanta

Description

The Infanta takes the best line up the huge boulder perched on the hill. Begin on the west side of the boulder, and climb the three bolt, center line up the west face (opposed to the Ayldepuss, which follows the arete). The climbing hits hard right off the ledge, pulling off desperate, off balance, gastons, crimps, and slots ending with a big throw to a jug left of the second bolt. This lower boulder problem is around V7. From here. a funky, slopey, V5 crux guards the anchors. This is not the best route around, but it makes for a good, end of day project.

Location

It is on the huge boulder, southeast of the parking area. This is the left of the two bolted routes up the boulder.

Protection

3 gold bolts, chain anchor.
