Rat's Eyes

Likely the longest route in the Heavy Metal, please tie a knot in the end of your rope.  Heads up on one of the prettiest streaked headwalls in the canyon.

Rat's Eyes has a variety of climbing styles, including laybacking, pocket pulling, jug hauling, and small hold technical climbing.

On the rightmost side of the Spinal Tap area.  Hike up past the giant flake buried in the earth below

, just past said buried flake look for a fat glue in bolt and layback feature that leads to thin glue in bolts that go out of eyesight.  Furthest right route on this panel of rock, look for the beautiful streaked upper headwall when you stand back.

12 glue-in bolts to clip-and-lower anchors.  Be sure to have a full 60 meter rope.
